This is the one service we do not carry out in your home. Carpets and rugs are collected from you, cleaned at our facility, and returned when they are ready.
There is a reason for it. Washing a carpet properly is a genuinely wet and genuinely messy business — the piece has to be saturated, scrubbed through and rinsed out, and very few homes have anywhere that can sensibly happen. Drying is the other half of the problem. A carpet needs a full day of direct sunshine, laid out flat.
Not every rug can take the process. The material has to be washable and colourfast, and the weave and backing have to be sound enough to stand up to mechanical scrubbing. Older, delicate and hand-knotted pieces frequently are not.
Turnaround is usually a couple of days, and up to a week when the weather will not give us the sunshine. Carpet and rug cleaning is charged at ₹50 per square foot, with collection and delivery on top and GST extra.

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Goa?
₹50 per square foot, with collection and delivery charged on top depending on where you are, and GST extra. Measure the rug and you have your figure — a 6 by 9 foot rug is 54 square feet, so ₹2,700 before delivery and tax. It is one of the few services we can price without seeing the property first.
Do you clean carpets at my house?
No, and this is the only service where that is the case. Carpets are collected and taken to our facility. Doing it properly means saturating the piece, scrubbing it through and rinsing it out — that is a lot of water and a lot of mess for a living room — and then drying it flat in full sun for a day. Very few homes have the space for either half of it.
How long will my carpet be away?
Usually a couple of days. It can stretch to a week, and the reason is almost always the sun — the drying needs a full day of direct sunshine, not a few hours of it, so a run of overcast weather holds things up. We would rather return a rug properly dried than on schedule.
Can every carpet or rug be cleaned this way?
No. Three things have to be true: the material has to be washable, it has to be colourfast, and the weave and backing have to be strong enough to take mechanical scrubbing without coming apart. Plenty of ordinary rugs pass on all three. Older pieces, fine hand-knotted rugs and anything with a fragile backing often do not, and forcing the process on those is how a rug gets ruined. Unlike upholstery, we do not patch test carpets, so that judgement rests with you — if you are unsure about a piece, check the label or ask whoever you bought it from before sending it to us.
